Southern Stars Competition
The Southern Stars Competition is held in conjunction with both the summer and fall SADM conventions. The competition is open to students of both Southern Association of Dance Masters (SADM) member teachers and non-member teachers. Studios are limited to a maximum of eight total entries, of which only three may be solo entries. All competitors must be registered and in attendance at the convention.
PLEASE NOTE: For a student (member or non-member) to enter the Southern Stars Competition, the student and his/her teacher must be registered for the convention. In addition, a teacher representing the student's dance studio must be present at the competition to check in and deliver music to the competition coordinators. Parents are not considered representatives of the dance studio.
Competition entry fees are determined by the board of directors and may be subject to change. Please see the competition entry form for specific entry fees. Competition entry forms and fees must be postmarked by the specified date.

Admission to the Southern Stars Competition will be $2 at the door. Please note that individual videotaping of any portion of the competition is strictly prohibited. SADM hires a videographer to record the contest; copies of your performance may be obtained through the member studio.
